
LPC Associate & Intern Opportunities
Designed to be more than a place to earn practicum or licensure hours, it's an opportunity to grow as a clinician while serving the community. Interns and Associates receive hands-on clinical experience in a supportive setting that values learning, thoughtful clinical judgment, and respect for diverse backgrounds and experiences.
LPC-Intern Practicum
Accepting one practicum intern for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. Per intern program requirements, gain supervised clinical experience providing in-person and virtual counseling to a diverse client population in San Marcos and surrounding Hays County communities, documentation requirements and record keeping practices, and more. In addition to clinical training, gain exposure to professional skills such as community outreach, marketing counseling services, and more.

LPC-Associate
Earn supervision hours while gaining meaningful clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families navigating real-life challenges and transitions providing in person and virtual therapy. Associates receive guidance in developing sound clinical judgment, strengthening their therapeutic approach, and building the confidence needed for independent practice with Laura Cavicchi, Ph.D., LPC-S.
